Case Study Competition Event

28 J2 students from CJC were tasked with analysing a legal case study scenario centred around cyberbullying, examining its implications, and crafting recommendations and innovative solutions to tackle the problem effectively. Each student group was paired with experienced legal mentors from Clyde & Co and the legal department of Salesforce, who offered insights, advice, and support to the students throughout the competition.

We had the privilege of hosting our role model, Anya Pandit, for a captivating speaking session attended by 50 enthusiastic girls from the arts CCA and library club.

During the session, the girls posed insightful and thought-provoking questions, delving into topics ranging from balancing work and hobbies, to leveraging engineering skills in the realm of food blogging. Later, the girls embarked on a journey envisioning themselves as food bloggers, unleashing their creativity through vibrant drawings and expressive writings about their favourite meals.

17 year old girls from CJC recently explored the world of asset management during an eye-opening visit to the Blackstone Singapore office. They delved into the intricacies of real estate and private equity through fun and engaging activities! The experience extended beyond exploration, featuring an intimate speed-networking session with the Blackstone female role models across diverse business units. The girls also had the privilege of participating in a thought-provoking panel discussion with senior leaders, where they gained valuable insights into their personal journeys, asked questions, and received priceless advice, enriching their understanding of this dynamic industry.

Visiting the global credit ratings firm, the 17 year old girls from Catholic Junior College connected with seasoned professionals from our corporate partner Fitch Group. The experts guided the girls in discovering their inner communicator. The girls explored body language, gained confidence in communication, and actively applied newfound skills. The workshop empowered them to thrive in various situations, fostering effective public speaking and confident everyday conversations! Inspiring Girls took the stage at the Girls in Aviation Day event to empower young talents with a self-leadership workshop and dynamic speed-networking session. Our inspiring role models spoke to over 300 Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent! The day featured thematic fireside chats, allowing the girls to participate in discussions tailored to their interests, including entrepreneurial spirit, innovative thinking, and a service-oriented mindset. The role model speakers shared their unique journeys in their respective industries and discussed the skills and dispositions they’ve cultivated to thrive in a VUCA world.

Inspiring Girls SG ran a VUCA workshop with girls in the Brownies CCA aged 9 - 12 years old.

Later, 10 role models from different areas of work joined us for a speed-networking event later in the day. The energy and enthusiasm during the entire event were simply electric! The girls amazed us with their curiosity, courage, and unwavering spirit. They fearlessly asked questions, shared their dreams, and embraced the notion that they have the power to shape their own destinies.

Pursuing Happiness Workshop and Career Speed Networking

On 25 May, we ran our programmes with close to 400 girls - we ran workshops consisting of various fun and interactive activities. Later in the day, we welcomed over 50 role models from diverse industries and backgrounds to deliver a simple message of resilience based on their personal journeys and experiences.

Taking the Lead

🌟 If she can see it, she can be it! 🌟

Last week, we conducted a workshop with 60 girls focused on helping them actively develop a confident sense of who they are, and showing them the importance of leading oneself. We were so impressed by the maturity of these girls when they said that they wanted to be values-based leaders leading with empathy, integrity, responsibility, and resilience! Later, 12 incredible role models across different profession industries joined us for the speed-networking event, sharing about their personal journeys, stories and experiences with the girls.

We conducted a workshop and role modelling session with the girls from CHIJ Secondary School.

We had the honour of inviting 7 incredible role models from Fitch Ratings, who shared their personal journeys, stories and experiences with the girls. The girls left the session feeling absolutely inspired and empowered after hearing from the role models!

W Series x IGS Paddock Tour

W Series invited Inspiring Girls Singapore and a group of ITE College East & go-karting girls to join a paddock tour, where we had a meet & greet with race driver Bianca Bustamante and a few other inspiring female personalities who power the W Series races!

The girls were also given the invaluable opportunity to sit in Bianca’s F3 car, and also met other W series race drivers like Jamie Chadwick and Juju Noda.

This was such a dream come true for the girls - big thanks to W Series for making this happen and showing girls the possibilities for women & girls in motorsports 💫
