18-year-old students from CJC will participate in an eye-opening excursion to the ANZ Singapore office, delving into the dynamic world of the finance industry.

In collaboration with Smobler Studios, a metaverse agency, students from ITE College East attended a voxel workshop where they learned how to create a 3D graphic asset of an avatar using the VoxEdit tool by The Sandbox!

28 J2 students from CJC were tasked with analysing a legal case study scenario centred around cyberbullying, examining its implications, and crafting recommendations and innovative solutions to tackle the problem effectively. Each student group was paired with experienced legal mentors from Clyde & Co and the legal department of Salesforce, who offered insights, advice, and support to the students throughout the competition.

Celebrating IWD by bringing Secondary 4 girls out of school to visit SCOR, Aedas and *SCAPE! The girls were provided with a unique opportunity to explore the realms of Reinsurance, Architecture, and Events Management. Girls gained invaluable insights into the workings of each sector, broadening their understanding of potential career pathways and opportunities.

Kickstarting IWD celebrations with our beneficiaries! 17 Secondary 3 - 5 CHIJ SJC girls got to connect and network with seasoned professionals from S&P Global, who shared their experiences and expertise to empower the girls to communicate with confidence, whether in public speaking, presentations, or everyday conversations.

We had the privilege of hosting our role model, Anya Pandit, for a captivating speaking session attended by 50 enthusiastic girls from the arts CCA and library club.

During the session, the girls posed insightful and thought-provoking questions, delving into topics ranging from balancing work and hobbies, to leveraging engineering skills in the realm of food blogging. Later, the girls embarked on a journey envisioning themselves as food bloggers, unleashing their creativity through vibrant drawings and expressive writings about their favourite meals.

17 year old girls from CJC recently explored the world of asset management during an eye-opening visit to the Blackstone Singapore office. They delved into the intricacies of real estate and private equity through fun and engaging activities! The experience extended beyond exploration, featuring an intimate speed-networking session with the Blackstone female role models across diverse business units. The girls also had the privilege of participating in a thought-provoking panel discussion with senior leaders, where they gained valuable insights into their personal journeys, asked questions, and received priceless advice, enriching their understanding of this dynamic industry.

Visiting the global credit ratings firm, the 17 year old girls from Catholic Junior College connected with seasoned professionals from our corporate partner Fitch Group. The experts guided the girls in discovering their inner communicator. The girls explored body language, gained confidence in communication, and actively applied newfound skills. The workshop empowered them to thrive in various situations, fostering effective public speaking and confident everyday conversations! Big kudos to the Fitch Solutions Asean Sales team for a well-designed and impactful workshop!

After participating in our programme, a 12 year old girl wrote“You can do it! Thanks for inspiring me to achieve my dreams!” 🌈

How does the intricate world of blockchain payments unfold behind the scenes? The secondary 3 girls from CHIJ secondary school had the opportunity to step into Partior’s lovely office, and discover the many components that enable the future of payments in blockchain technology! The girls met and networked with industry professionals through interactive and dynamic speed-networking sessions and learnt so much about the world of Fin Tech. Inspiring Girls took the stage at the Girls in Aviation Day event to empower young talents with a self-leadership workshop and dynamic speed-networking session. At the heart of it all was a self-leadership workshop aimed at breaking down the barriers that limit our understanding of leadership 💥 The day also featured a dynamic speed-networking session, connecting these amazing girls with inspiring female role models in aviation.

Our inspiring role models spoke to over 300 Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent! The day featured thematic fireside chats, allowing the girls to participate in discussions tailored to their interests, including entrepreneurial spirit, innovative thinking, and a service-oriented mindset. The role model speakers shared their unique journeys in their respective industries and discussed the skills and dispositions they’ve cultivated to thrive in a VUCA world.

IGS collaborated with Danone to bring 28 girls from the ITE Food Sciences Course for a site visit. The visit provided them with the opportunity to meet industry professionals from various fields of work within the company, and gain exposure to the different career paths possible in food sciences!

IGS collaborated with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Singapore to bring 15 Secondary Schoolgirls for an industry visit. It was a berry special day for them as they had the incredible opportunity to step into the shoes of a flavourist. Together, they dove headfirst into the world of taste, aroma, and creativity. 🌟👩‍🔬

Inspiring Girls SG collaborated with Boeing to bring 30 girls from the Aviation Technology and Avionics Course in ITE College Central for a visit the Boeing Training Campus Facility. The girls got to meet and network with female role models in the aviation industry via the speed-networking sessions, and join an exciting flight simulation activity! ✈️

Inspiring Girls SG ran a VUCA workshop with girls in the Brownies CCA aged 9 - 12 years old.

Later, 10 role models from different areas of work joined us for a speed-networking event later in the day. The energy and enthusiasm during the entire event were simply electric! The girls amazed us with their curiosity, courage, and unwavering spirit. They fearlessly asked questions, shared their dreams, and embraced the notion that they have the power to shape their own destinies.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the role models who generously shared their stories, wisdom, and inspiration. Your presence ignited a spark within these young girls and will forever be imprinted in their hearts. Thank you for being the guiding stars on their journey to greatness! 🌟🤝

In our self-leadership workshop - we asked age 11 girls to draw their leadership philosophy, a common theme emerged — a resounding call to lead with empathy, kindness, and inclusivity. It became evident that they envision a future where understanding and acceptance reign, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and empowerment.💪

On 25 May, we ran our programmes with close to 400 girls - we ran workshops consisting of various fun and interactive activities. Later in the day, we welcomed over 50 role models from diverse industries and backgrounds to deliver a simple message of resilience based on their personal journeys and experiences.

On 26 April, we ran a workshop and speed networking session introducing 40 girls to 8 amazing role models. Role models from different industries and backgrounds came to share more about their personal journeys and impart an important message of resilience to girls aged 9-12 years old - to never give up on your dreams, no matter how hard it gets! 🌟

In collaboration with Smobler Studios, a metaverse agency, we rolled out the first-ever voxel art workshop to be conducted in schools - at ITE College East!

On 10 March, groups of Secondary 4 girls had an amazing day learning and getting introduced to a new world of possibilities in STEM, Construction, Reinsurance, and Intellectual Property - all thanks to our partners NCS Group Leighton Asia SCOR World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO for graciously hosting the girls, offering them a first-hand experience learning about what working in your sector entails and helping them see the multitude of career options and pathways available to them!

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we conducted our VUCA workshop & speed-networking event at ITE College East. The girls had an absolute blast speaking to the role models and they learnt so much from the inspiring stories and journeys of 10 role models from different career paths and walks of life!

Last week, we conducted a workshop with 60 girls focused on helping them actively develop a confident sense of who they are, and showing them the importance of leading oneself. We were so impressed by the maturity of these girls when they said that they wanted to be values-based leaders leading with empathy, integrity, responsibility, and resilience! Later, 12 incredible role models across different profession industries joined us for the speed-networking event, sharing about their personal journeys, stories and experiences with the girls.

We conducted a workshop and role modelling session with the girls from CHIJ Secondary School.

We had the honour of inviting 7 incredible role models from Fitch Ratings, who shared their personal journeys, stories and experiences with the girls. The girls left the session feeling absolutely inspired and empowered after hearing from the role models!

W Series invited Inspiring Girls Singapore and a group of ITE College East & go-karting girls to join a paddock tour, where we had a meet & greet with race driver Bianca Bustamante and a few other inspiring female personalities who power the W Series races!

The girls were also given the invaluable opportunity to sit in Bianca’s F3 car, and also met other W series race drivers like Jamie Chadwick and Juju Noda.

This was such a dream come true for the girls - big thanks to W Series for making this happen and showing girls the possibilities for women & girls in motorsports 💫

We conducted an outreach event with ISS International School, where we invited role models Alexandra Mercz, Mathilde Swierczynska, Rubiah Mohd, Christine Seah, and Winnie Chong and Feng Zi Liu from BNY Mellon to share their inspiring personal journeys and career paths with the students.

In the lead-up to the all-female W Series motor racing championship, IGS organised a talk inviting rising race driver Bianca Bustamante to speak to girls from ITE College East and a go-karting club.
