We host outreach events with schools nationwide to connect girls with role models, and introduce them to the full variety of careers and options in life! We want to help build their confidence and resilience, nurture and encourage their curiosity, and inspire them to dream big and aim high!
Communications Workshop with IFS
Girls from IFS joined us for a dynamic communications workshop, designed to empower them as effective communicators, irrespective of their current skill level. Through speed-networking, interactive discussions, and engaging activities, they connected with seasoned Paypal professionals who served as their mentors. These mentors shared experiences, helped facilitate conversations, and provided invaluable insights to enhance their communication skills. 💬

24 J1 girls from Catholic JC visited Moody’s for an inspiring career exploration day. Through dynamic speed-networking and interactive activities, they met diverse role models who shared stories of resilience, navigating uncertainty, and the importance of being curious and open-minded. The event was filled with valuable insights, career tips, and empowering messages for the girls’ futures.

Speed-Networking with RGPS
To celebrate the end of examinations, we connected nearly 300 Primary 5 girls from Raffles Girls’ Primary School with 51 inspiring female role models. Through a vibrant speed-networking session, the girls engaged in empowering conversations and heard impactful stories of resilience and determination. One student shared, “You made me feel there is always hope, even after failure. I learned that while you may be lost in the dark, you cannot give up; eventually, you will see the light!” 💡 The event inspired the girls to embrace challenges and strive toward their goals with confidence!

Self-Leadership Workshop with St Anthony's Primary School
We spent an inspiring day with the P5 girls of St. Anthony’s Primary School! The day began with a self-leadership workshop, where facilitators empowered the girls to see that leadership comes from within and is for everyone. The girls shared heartwarming aspirations, from helping at home and supporting friends to caring for animals and the elderly, showing their passion for making a positive impact. To conclude, 20 role models from various diverse fields shared their journeys via speed-networking, inspiring the girls with lessons on resilience and perseverance to pursue their dreams.

Industry Visit: 3M & QIAGEN
To mark the end of their examinations, Secondary 2 and 3 girls from CHIJ SNGS were given a special opportunity to step outside the classroom and visit 3M and QIAGEN. The event featured a dynamic speed-networking session where the students engaged with professionals from various fields, gaining firsthand insights into STEM and healthcare industries. This unique experience allowed the girls to broaden their understanding of potential career pathways, inspiring them to explore the exciting opportunities these sectors offer.

Industry Visit: SCOR, BNY + Clyde & Co!
Celebrating the end of exams by bringing Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ SJC out of school to visit SCOR, BNY and Clyde & Co! The girls were provided with a unique opportunity to explore the realms of Reinsurance, Banking & Finance, and Law. Girls gained invaluable insights into the workings of each sector, broadening their understanding of potential career pathways and opportunities.

Industry Visit: Spotify Singapore
We had the pleasure of bringing 25 Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ St Theresa’s Convent on an exciting learning journey to Spotify Singapore. We kicked off the day with a panel discussion with male allies, who shared how diversity of thought fuels innovation. This set the stage for what followed — a speed-networking session with female Spotifiers, giving the girls a peek into the career paths, and day-to-day work at Spotify. The girls then toured the office, getting a behind-the-scenes look where creativity and collaboration come to life. Wrapping up the day was an “Ask Me Anything” segment where the girls had the opportunity to ask female Spotifiers questions about the various career paths at Spotify, the skills and qualities that contribute to success in those roles, and more!

Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of teaming up with QIAGEN to spotlight Singapore’s exciting life science and molecular diagnostics industry. It was an action-packed day for the students, who dived into a world of exploration and discovery. The programme was brimming with interactive activities that let the students get up close with innovations in the life science research and molecular testing space firsthand. Throughout the day, students rotated through various stations, each designed to engage their curiosity and provide real-world insights. These hands-on experiences not only brought their textbooks to life but also sparked their imaginations about future careers in science and technology.

What an exhilarating learning journey with CJC girls at Boeing! The girls immersed themselves in a day filled with networking opportunities with Boeing professionals, engaging discussions, and insightful career advice that sparked their aspirations. Highlighting the day was a thrilling experience in the flight simulator, where the girls took the pilot’s seat under the guidance of a seasoned commercial pilot. They navigated the skies, experiencing firsthand the excitement of commanding a commercial jet airliner ✈️

16 May marked an extraordinary day as we embarked on a journey of growth alongside close to 300 Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ SJC. The atmosphere was electric as two floors teemed with lively workshops, dynamic speed-networking sessions, and thought-provoking activities. Industry Visit: ANZ Bank
33 students from Catholic Junior College (CJC) recently had an unforgettable excursion to the ANZ Singapore office. This eye-opening visit provided invaluable insights into the dynamic world of finance. During the visit, the students networked with professionals from various job functions within ANZ. This interaction was enriching, as the students asked questions, sought advice, and gained inspiration. A highlight was the exclusive tour of the ANZ trading room. The students witnessed the fast-paced environment where critical financial decisions are made. A huge thank you to ANZ Singapore for hosting the students! 💼📊

Voxel Workshop with ITE College East
In collaboration with Smobler Studios, a metaverse agency, students from ITE College East attended a voxel workshop where they learned how to create a 3D graphic asset of an avatar using the VoxEdit tool by The Sandbox!

Case Study Competition Event
28 J2 students from CJC were tasked with analysing a legal case study scenario centred around cyberbullying, examining its implications, and crafting recommendations and innovative solutions to tackle the problem effectively. Each student group was paired with experienced legal mentors from Clyde & Co and the legal department of Salesforce, who offered insights, advice, and support to the students throughout the competition.

Celebrating IWD by bringing Secondary 4 girls out of school to visit SCOR, Aedas and *SCAPE! The girls were provided with a unique opportunity to explore the realms of Reinsurance, Architecture, and Events Management. Girls gained invaluable insights into the workings of each sector, broadening their understanding of potential career pathways and opportunities.

Kickstarting IWD celebrations with our beneficiaries! 17 Secondary 3 - 5 CHIJ SJC girls got to connect and network with seasoned professionals from S&P Global, who shared their experiences and expertise to empower the girls to communicate with confidence, whether in public speaking, presentations, or everyday conversations.

School Talk at RGPS
We had the privilege of hosting our role model, Anya Pandit, for a captivating speaking session attended by 50 enthusiastic girls from the arts CCA and library club.
During the session, the girls posed insightful and thought-provoking questions, delving into topics ranging from balancing work and hobbies, to leveraging engineering skills in the realm of food blogging. Later, the girls embarked on a journey envisioning themselves as food bloggers, unleashing their creativity through vibrant drawings and expressive writings about their favourite meals.

17 year old girls from CJC recently explored the world of asset management during an eye-opening visit to the Blackstone Singapore office. They delved into the intricacies of real estate and private equity through fun and engaging activities! The experience extended beyond exploration, featuring an intimate speed-networking session with the Blackstone female role models across diverse business units. The girls also had the privilege of participating in a thought-provoking panel discussion with senior leaders, where they gained valuable insights into their personal journeys, asked questions, and received priceless advice, enriching their understanding of this dynamic industry.

Communications Workshop with Fitch
Visiting the global credit ratings firm, the 17 year old girls from Catholic Junior College connected with seasoned professionals from our corporate partner Fitch Group. The experts guided the girls in discovering their inner communicator. The girls explored body language, gained confidence in communication, and actively applied newfound skills. The workshop empowered them to thrive in various situations, fostering effective public speaking and confident everyday conversations! Big kudos to the Fitch Solutions Asean Sales team for a well-designed and impactful workshop!

How does the intricate world of blockchain payments unfold behind the scenes? The secondary 3 girls from CHIJ secondary school had the opportunity to step into Partior’s lovely office, and discover the many components that enable the future of payments in blockchain technology! The girls met and networked with industry professionals through interactive and dynamic speed-networking sessions and learnt so much about the world of Fin Tech. Inspiring Girls took the stage at the Girls in Aviation Day event to empower young talents with a self-leadership workshop and dynamic speed-networking session. At the heart of it all was a self-leadership workshop aimed at breaking down the barriers that limit our understanding of leadership 💥 The day also featured a dynamic speed-networking session, connecting these amazing girls with inspiring female role models in aviation.

Fireside Chat with CHIJ SJC
Our inspiring role models spoke to over 300 Secondary 3 girls from CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent! The day featured thematic fireside chats, allowing the girls to participate in discussions tailored to their interests, including entrepreneurial spirit, innovative thinking, and a service-oriented mindset. The role model speakers shared their unique journeys in their respective industries and discussed the skills and dispositions they’ve cultivated to thrive in a VUCA world.

IGS collaborated with Danone to bring 28 girls from the ITE Food Sciences Course for a site visit. The visit provided them with the opportunity to meet industry professionals from various fields of work within the company, and gain exposure to the different career paths possible in food sciences!

IGS collaborated with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Singapore to bring 15 Secondary Schoolgirls for an industry visit. It was a berry special day for them as they had the incredible opportunity to step into the shoes of a flavourist. Together, they dove headfirst into the world of taste, aroma, and creativity. 🌟👩🔬

Inspiring Girls SG collaborated with Boeing to bring 30 girls from the Aviation Technology and Avionics Course in ITE College Central for a visit the Boeing Training Campus Facility. The girls got to meet and network with female role models in the aviation industry via the speed-networking sessions, and join an exciting flight simulation activity! ✈️

VUCA Workshop with Brownies
Inspiring Girls SG ran a VUCA workshop with girls in the Brownies CCA aged 9 - 12 years old.
Later, 10 role models from different areas of work joined us for a speed-networking event later in the day. The energy and enthusiasm during the entire event were simply electric! The girls amazed us with their curiosity, courage, and unwavering spirit. They fearlessly asked questions, shared their dreams, and embraced the notion that they have the power to shape their own destinies.

Self-Leadership Workshop With Ambassadors
In our self-leadership workshop - we asked age 11 girls to draw their leadership philosophy, a common theme emerged — a resounding call to lead with empathy, kindness, and inclusivity. It became evident that they envision a future where understanding and acceptance reign, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and empowerment.💪
